Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules and boundaries for using RAWTRAK's music distribution service. It supplements our Terms of Service and exists to protect artists, rights holders, listeners, and the integrity of the music ecosystem. Violations of this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination as described in our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, distribute, or associate with your RAWTRAK account any content that: 1. Infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party 2. Contains unlicensed samples, loops, beats, or interpolations 3. Impersonates another artist, label, or entity 4. Contains hate speech, incitement to violence, or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability 5. Contains explicit threats, harassment, or doxxing 6. Promotes illegal activities including but not limited to drug trafficking, terrorism, or exploitation of minors 7. Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually exploitative in nature 8. Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems 9. Is deliberately misleading or fraudulent (fake artist profiles, false metadata, etc.)

3. Artificial Streaming & Manipulation

The following activities are strictly prohibited: 1. Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate artificial streams or plays 2. Purchasing streams from streaming farms or click mills 3. Participating in stream-for-stream exchange schemes 4. Manipulating charts, playlists, or algorithmic recommendations through artificial means 5. Creating multiple accounts to artificially inflate stream counts 6. Incentivizing listeners with monetary rewards solely for streaming (pay-per-stream schemes) Artificial streaming damages the entire music ecosystem and harms legitimate artists. RAWTRAK actively monitors for suspicious streaming patterns and cooperates with DSPs to detect manipulation.

4. AI-Generated Content Rules

RAWTRAK accepts AI-assisted and AI-generated music under the following conditions: 1. All AI involvement must be disclosed at the time of submission (Release Wizard Step 4) 2. You must have the legal right to distribute the AI-generated content 3. AI-generated content must not impersonate, clone, or imitate the voice or style of a specific real artist without their written consent 4. Bulk uploading of low-quality AI-generated content (spam) is prohibited 5. AI-generated cover art must be disclosed and must not infringe on existing copyrighted works Failure to disclose AI-generated content may result in immediate removal and account termination without warning.

5. Account & Platform Integrity

You may not: 1. Create multiple accounts for the same individual or entity to circumvent limits or bans 2. Share account credentials with unauthorized third parties 3. Use RAWTRAK's service to launder money or facilitate financial fraud 4. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from RAWTRAK's platform 5. Circumvent or disable security features, rate limits, or access controls 6. Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from RAWTRAK's platform without authorization 7. Use the service in any way that could impair its performance or availability for other users

6. Metadata Accuracy

All metadata submitted through RAWTRAK must be accurate and complete: 1. Artist names must accurately represent the performing artist(s) 2. Track titles, album titles, and genre classifications must be truthful 3. ISRC codes must not be duplicated or fabricated 4. Release dates must be genuine — do not back-date releases to manipulate charts 5. Credits (producers, songwriters, featured artists) must be accurate 6. Lyrics (including LRC-synced lyrics) must match the actual audio content Deliberately submitting false metadata is a violation of this policy and may result in content removal.

7. Enforcement

RAWTRAK enforces this policy through a combination of automated detection, manual review, and DSP partner reports. Enforcement actions may include: - Warning and request for content modification - Content removal from distribution - Temporary account suspension - Permanent account termination - Royalty freezing and clawback - Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law For copyright-specific violations, see our DMCA & Copyright Infringement Policy for detailed procedures including counter-notification rights.

8. Reporting Violations
