Refund Policy

1. Subscription Refunds
Artist Plan ($12.99/month): 1. Your subscription begins immediately upon signup. You will be charged at the time of registration. 2. First-time subscribers who have not yet submitted a release may request a full refund within 7 days of their initial payment. 3. After 7 days, or once a release has been submitted, subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. 4. You may cancel your Artist Plan subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you will continue to have Artist Plan benefits until the paid period expires. 5. No partial or prorated refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
2. Processing Fees
1. The one-time processing fee of $1 per release (deducted from first royalty settlement) is non-refundable once the release has been submitted for distribution. 2. If a release is rejected during the review process (copyright violation, quality issues, etc.), the processing fee is waived — you are not charged for rejected releases. 3. The metadata modification fee ($14.99 per request) is non-refundable once the modification process has been initiated with DSPs.
3. Exceptional Refund Circumstances
RAWTRAK may issue refunds at its sole discretion in the following circumstances: 1. Duplicate charges due to a system error 2. Charges processed after a valid cancellation request was submitted 3. Service outages lasting more than 72 consecutive hours that prevent access to core features 4. Billing errors caused by RAWTRAK (not by Stripe or your financial institution) To request a refund under these circumstances, contact support@rawtrak.com within 30 days of the charge with your account email and a description of the issue.
4. Royalty Payouts Are Not Refundable
Royalty payouts processed through Stripe Connect are final and cannot be reversed by RAWTRAK. If a DSP claws back royalties (e.g., due to artificial streaming), the clawback amount will be deducted from future payouts as described in our Terms of Service (Section 6).
5. Downgrade vs. Cancellation
Please note the distinction between these actions: Plan Downgrade (Artist → Starter): Your account remains active. You retain access to your releases and dashboard. A 15% service fee applies to future streaming revenue. Account Deletion: A separate process requiring 5-item consent confirmation and email verification. Initiates a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion. See our Terms of Service (Section 8) for full details. Cancelling your subscription does NOT delete your account or remove your music from DSPs.
6. How to Request a Refund

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe) and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
7. Changes to This Policy
RAWTRAK reserves the right to update this Refund Policy. Changes will be communicated via email or in-service notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
